| ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate, in greenhouse, the response of the lettuce cultivar 'Vera', with respect to the marketable shoot dry matter production and macronutrient accumulation, as a function of the application of different doses of nitrogen (N) and a potassium silicate-based leaf fertilizer. The lettuce was cultivated from August 10, 2012 (sowing) to October 16, 2012 (harvest). The experimental design was completely randomized with three replicates, referring to nine treatments, resulting from the combination between top-dressing doses of N (9, 54, 90, 126 and 171 kg ha-1) and Si/K2O (1.15, 6.90, 11.50, 16.10 and 21.85 kg ha-1), using the Plan Puebla III experimental matrix, and a control treatment without fertigation. | Com o objetivo de comparar a uniformidade de lâminas aplicadas, uniformidade de umidades no solo e produtividade da cultura do feijoeiro, conduziu-se um experimento utilizando a cultivar de feijão IAPAR 57. Foram feitas aplicações de água na superfície do solo, com quatro valores de uniformidades, aplicando-se a mesma lâmina, utilizando-se de quatro espaçamentos entre aspersores: 12 x 12 m; 18 x 18 m; 18 x 24 m, e 24 x 24 m. Foram feitas análises das distribuições dos dados de lâmina aplicada, de umidade do solo e de rendimento de grãos, no espaço. | The performance of the CROPGRO-Drybeans model for the prediction of soil water balance, as well as growth components and bean crop yield, was assessed using data from two field experiments conducted at the State University of Maringá Irrigation Technical Center, Paraná - Brazil, (latitude 23º27'S, longitude 51º57' and altitude 542 m), during the 2005 and 2006 growing season. The model simulations correlated well with measured soil moisture (r > 0.7) for both experiments. However, there were high discrepancies between measured and simulated soil moisture values on the days after rainfall. In addition, it was found that the model exaggerates the effect of water stress during the flowering phase, which leds to underprediction (19 and 29%) of crop yield. |
